LICENSE AGREEMENT USSI
ONE COPY – ONE LOCATION – ONE LICENSE
The software is copyrighted by Universal Software Solutions, Inc (USSI).
USSI grants an exclusive license to the original purchaser of the software, as follows:
YOU MAY:
Make one (1) copy of the original disks for backup purposes.
Install the software on as many machines as you wish, at any one location.
Make copies of the manual for distribution to staff members and associates of the licensee.
YOU MAY NOT:
Sell, distribute, lease, assign or lend the software to another party.
Allow the software, or a copy thereof, to be used in such a manner that the "Preparer Information" section of the configuration screen contains a name and/or address other than that of the licensee.
You are allowed a short period of time during which unregistered software will print acceptable copies. After a limited time, certain printed pages will not be appropriate for filing until registration is verified.
Verification is achieved by completing the preparer information section of the Configuration screen with the correct licensee information. This is generally the company name and address that is on file with Universal Software. It may be necessary to connect to our web site by “Checking for Updates” from the programs’ launch screen.
USSI warrants that the software is free of significant errors that would make it unusable. Our liability is limited to making any corrections or adjustments in a timely fashion at no cost to the licensee.
This agreement in no way diminishes any rights you may have under applicable federal or state laws.
